The Greeley-Omaha Fogarty's in Nebraska are my line. My official name is Edward F Fogarty, III and my namesake wrote the Omaha city charter. There is a wonderful little medical breakthrough that some may be seeing in the media on a little girl named Eden Carlson. I have had the great luck of the Irish in being a part of that case report and a medical advance that can reverse brain injury.

Hi all, My grandmother was Mary Irene Fogarty, who lived a long and wonderful life in Nebraska. She was born in Greeley in 1902 and died in Hastings in 1983. Now that I am semi-retired I am piecing together a family tree. I have (possibly) traced back to Patt Fogarty who was born in 1770. I am just investigating all possible sources and I was amazed to find this site. cheers to all.

Researching the Fogarty line that ended up in New Zealand and Australia. Particularly interested in Patrick Fogarty, born approx. 1853 of Tipperary, and married Mary McGrath also of Tipperary following his migration to New Zealand. It appears as though Mary had migrated some years earlier, possibly as a child. He died in 1905 and is buried in Dunedin Cemetary, New Zealand. Any information regarding siblings, parents etc would be much appreciated.
