I have just spent 3 weeks in Ireland. I was lucky to have seen what is left of the Fogarty Castle. There was more left than I expected. I have no information on my ancestor's. My father Thurman A. Fogarty was born an only child in 1926. His father left when he was a young child & never saw him again. His name was Arthur Fogarty. I believe is grandfather was Herbert Fogarty. I have no other information. If anyone knows these relations please email me. Having been here has made me want to know my ancestory line. Thank you!

I am researching my great grandfather born in 1835 in Ireland who immigrated to the U. S. He was married to Mary Flanagan.

My family also hails from County Tipperary. I was born in Dover, NH and have a summer home on Prince Edward Island, Canada. Some Fogartys settled there after leaving Ireland. My grandfather Martin Joseph Fogarty was born and raised there.
